I'm a newbie to the "knowledgeable fish keeping" game so don't know what's "need to know"
yet.
My tank is a 30 gallon fresh water, very lightly planted. Using a marine land C-160 canister filter. Currently houses some pond??? snails (came with the plants) and one assassin snail we added and I think is dying. (I'm making a post about that.)
I PLAN to house: 3 guppies, 5 tiger barbs, 5 neon tetras, 2 dwarf frogs (no claws) and 3 otocinclus
(plus the snails) I would like to plant more plants as well but will be asking advice on that in a post.
the aquaponic system I'm helping with:
100gallon? currently in the early stages of set up and contains about a dozen gold fish who will later be transferred to the ponds I am planning. Has a couple of test plants in it (jalapeno and strawberry.)
Ponds: One is empty but holds about 100 gallons and was used for ducks in the past. The other is 50-75 gallons surrounded by a bench on
