    Refractometer vs. Hydrometer

    I just purchased a refractometer and calibrated it. I've discovered my hydrometer was reading low. Hyrdrometer reading 1.025 sg. and the refractometer reads 1.028 sg. How slowly should I bring my sg down to my target of 1.025? Several hours or a couple of days???
