    Julii cory lost his barbells

I have 6 cories. A few days ago I saw that one of the cories barbells are completely worn away. He was still swimming around and eating. Now, he just lays at the bottom and I can’t tell if he is eating or not. I’m not sure how he lost his barbells. I’m not sure what to do about it. I have a...

5 week old platy fry feeding

I saved these platys from my LFS. Can anyone tell how old the larger fry is? I’m guessing the tiny fry are at least a week old. Thanks.

    Cycling tank question

My tank is fully cycled and awaiting the 4 platy fye to grow big enough to move to the 5 gallon grow out tank. How do I keep the cycle going without fish? I used brine shrimp in a media bag to create the waste needed to cycle the tank. Should I just continue to use a little brine shrimp? Thanks.

    Julii cories eggs

I have 3 julii cories, 5 neon tetras and 2 otocinclus catfish in my 20 gallon planted tank. My cories have been showing breeding behavior and sometimes I find a few eggs. From what I have read cories lay at least 20 eggs on the glass, plants etc, but I only see a couple of eggs here and there...
