Ghost shrimp could be cool. That's about all I can recommend and even that is pushing it. No matter what you're going to be looking at very frequent water changes.

You're going to have to change the water daily with what you have now. Do you have a water test kit?

I would take the media from the new filter, put it in the old tank somewhere, give it a week or so, and then put it in the new filter in the new tank. That way you don't have to worry about removing bb from your established tank.

That's definitely too small for a goldfish. Goldfish actually need fairly large tanks.

What size tank do you have? What and how often do you feed them? If they're ghost shrimp they're not macrobrachia, which is a genus.

How long was it out of water? That could potentially kill off some of your BB. But I really am not sure.
