What'd be the most aggressive fish I can put into a 20?

Yeah, so I've had three neons in with three full grown Angelfish in a 45 long for about 2 or 3 months now, and there hasn't been any aggressiveness whatsoever.

What is the smallest filter and heater ect. I can get? I have a half gallon glass vase I want to use as a shrimp tank, for a dozen RCS or something. Pic attached

So I have a 3 inch Angelfish, and he keeps going after my snails. The snails are mostly around 3/4 of an inch around. Mystery TBE (to be exact). And the tips of their shells seem to be missing, or at least damaged.

Recently, my tank has a terrible, dead-fish smell, seriously. :( And I can't figure out why? :confused: My params are good, there are no dead fish. I have snails, but none of them are dead, so that can't be it. I don't have a whole lot of food on the bottom. HELP! I"M CONFOOSED!!! :banghead:
