I'm thinking of buying a 90 gal preformed pond kit. I live in the mountains of California. The twist is that I am thinking of making it a above ground pond. Using landscaping wall bricks for the walls. If anyone has tried this or has any type of helpfull words for me they would be apprieciated. Thank you.

well, I can put my 2 cents in. It should be no problem to do what you want. I would pick a small brick though because it will be easier to form it to the pond. Also make sure you use re-barb wire(and/or cement) to help hold the shape. Build the wall to fit the pond and I would fill the open areas underneath with gravel. If there is a lip on the pond then put that on top of the retaining wall. If there is no lip then I would build a metal frame to help hold the pond. A retaining wall can be strong if made properly. Read up on making one or ask here is you have questions.
