I discovered snails in my tank and have identified them as bladder snails. I found, round the back of the filter, two straight rows of seven or so white eggs. In perfect parallel, lines. also on a moss ball. They don't look like gelatinous lumps pictured on websites. just neat rows. In my tank I have cardinal tetras, harlequin raspboras, gold mountain minnows, glowlight tetras, a pleco and 2 varieties of shrimp. I got rid of the eggs, but am worried they were not snails after looking at examples online. any ideas what they were please?

Smash for fish, trap them, or keep them. They will not feed on live plant material. Good scavengers but are prolific.
