North east here. Sixhills aquatics in grimsby is a good one thats still expanding every week. Closer to you, my brother was telling me that theres some really big ones in Leeds but i havent been nore do i know the quality of the fish theyre selling. I buy my fish from a specialist cichlid breeder online where videos of actual fish are available. Alot of the parents actually being f1 fish (f1 meaning wild caught). He does line breed species aswell like ice, fire and ruby reds along with others. His eureka reds being the most colourful ive seen in my lifetime. Line breed species are beautiful but i find them less interesting. He knows what hes doing but afterall Line bred is just a 'nicer' term than saying inbred.
I also use the US gallon volume measurements more than the UK now and thats mainly due to aquarium advice, obviously the majority are US members so to answer questions properly and without the possibility of confusing a poster its easier to use US units on here.
