Are there any options to improve circulation in a tank that are safe for fry? I have a 40g breeder running dual Hydro V sponge filters and a bubble wall along the back, but I keep getting blue-green algae... I've read that low circulation is a huge factor of this algae, but I don't want to add a circulation pump for fear of it sucking up my cherry barb fry... I tried adding a bubble wall along the back, but it didn't seem to help at all.

Any other things I can try?

Blue green algae is a type of bacteria actually. You would need to tear down the tank/give it a long blackout period/ or dose antibiotics to fully cure it I believe.

You can usually stick a powerhead onto a sponge filter. That should safely improve it.

What are the parameters of the fry tank?
