Sorry for the delay in answering...
Sounds like your just suffering from "new tank syndrom" where your having an algae bloom due to your tank's high nutruent content. Durring the cycling phase of the tank the ammonia, nitrite levels will be higher than undetectable. This gives algae more food to use to grow and thus result is the algae bloom. It will go away on its own.
If I remember correctly was it you who posted about your city's water supply having high phosphates or something like that? If that was the case then those phosphates can also lead to an algae bloom.
