FWIW, any size tank has the potential to be unorganized, it depends on who does the aquascaping and placement of the inverts

Ok guys i want to sets up a 20 gallon to. What kind of equipment are you running. Skimmers etc. are you running sumps? or refugiums? I want to put it in my living room so the system has to be very quite or the wife will throw it out the window.

Wilson...the coral you are referring to is a finger leather, Sinularia sp. They're fairly hardy and tolerate a range of lighting schemes. The tank pic I posted was with 110 watts of PC lighting, 1 10K bulb and 1 actinic. Now I am using the 100 watts PC plus 175 watt MH 10K lamp...its bright. You can see from the pics how much a finger leather can grow in a few months.

wat would the minimum watts for a finger leather under pc, wopuld the 94 quad light b enough.

In a 10 gallon you could probably keep one under a 96 watt quad. Some of the more colored varieties would need higher light to keep their colors but the more drab variety like the one pictured would do fine.
