Worm on glass at my lfs

I thought it was a crack in the glass as I was walking up to it. Are flatworms considered a pest? Or not harmful?

It isn't a flatworm that I'm familiar with, if that is one. But you look at it, and you can see similarities and so on. I'm more familiar with flatworms that eat acropora or small brown ones that though I've never been presented with any evidence of them consuming coral, when the numbers explode in a system they simply starve photosynthetic corals of light and they die.
This guy just doesn't match a species I'm familiar with maybe.
