Hi there! I have an old dresser and want to put my 29 g tank on top. I’m just a bit worried about the structural integrity of the dresser.

It looks to be made of solid wood planks on the top, sides, and bottom. However there looks to be no support in the center. I already am planning to fix the dresser up to modern standards.

My question is...Should I wing it and hope the tank holds or add some sort of support to it. If support is needed any suggestions on how you would do that would be soooo helpful! Thanks again!

PS I think my pictures are upside down. Whoops...

Add a sheet of 3/4" plywood to top. Home depot will cut it for you. Have grain run long way
