This as taken in Kelseyville near Clear Lake, CA.
It has been storming , rain and high winds. It did snow for about 2 minutes. Temps are around 30°f at night. So not -20°, but still cold enough to wear a coat. If I put on a coat so does my dog because we have about the same temperature needs.

This is Apollo. He must weigh 25lbs. One Christmas I was looking out the door at yes snow with my brother's fiancé and I spot this cat covered in snow digging through the recycling on the porch. He wouldn't come in, so I set up a humane live trap and shortly after caught him and brought him in right away. He was starving and depressed. The depression lasted a long time. Now he's a panther who rarely ever makes a sound. He's been helping me in the basement.

This is Astoria. She was found at a hotel about 2 hours from here called the Grand Astoria. We call her Storie. She was just a tiny tiny little thing not even 8 weeks old yet. I went and pulled her out of the high kill shelter she ended up in. She's about 8 or 10 now. If you pet her wrong she bites! Lol she and Apollo enjoy the wheat and oat grass I'm growing in my Aquafarm.

Here's my big guy, his name is Smokey Joe or Smokey for short and here's his story. Three thanksgivings ago me and my family were up at a family farm in Virginia with my dad's side of the family and we had found this family of stray cats, a dad and 4 kittens) and one of these kittens liked humans but clearly starving along with the others and I quickly grew quite attached to him and for days I would play with him and feed him instead of visiting with family and all that time I begged my parents to bring him home (during this time we named his father Ash, him Smokey, his brother Shadow, one of his sisters Spark, and the other sister Warbler)and on the last day as everyone was leaving I finally convinced my mom and together we convinced my dad with a little help from my two younger brothers. On the ride home he slept in my lap most of the time and explored the rest of the time. We let him have the garage since we had a cat door in it for our other cat and since than he's grown huge (he's really muscular but also has an eating disorder since he was starving as a kitten) and hunts all the time and gets in fights with strays and other animals (including hawks) and has been chased down by chickens half his size.
