Painted glass fish...any good substitutes?

Thanks. I had a high nitrate reading last time...did a 50% water change and vaccumed ALL the gravel until there was nothing coming up, but the levels are still high. She suggested adding bioballs and Cycle?

Just outta curiosity, is this a good test kit?

It has worked for me as long as I have used it (I have two freshwater kits so that I can compare if something is off, but this is not necessary). However, I think you will find it for cheaper at bigalsonline.com
